Healthy Living, Healthier You
In this topic we will find out :-
The necessity to take care of our ' body machine'
for good health outcomes.
How our body helps us to engage with the
world around us.

There are different types of cells in our bodies.
What our cells need in order for us to be healthy.
Our body and its cells need to be 'properly fuelled'
and what this might mean.
The role of our Digestive System in breaking down our food into
usable nutrients.
The role of our blood in transporting these nutrients to every cell.
If you don't look after your body it won't be able to look after you and you take a lot of looking after!
This and much more is contained
in our 16 page A5 pupil work booklet.

And there is even more for our pupils to discover in this enjoyable topic. The topic concludes with the pupil making up a Happy Meals day with meals that would make their army of cells happy for the delivery of nutrients that they would provide.
